Peaches have a tender, sweet and juicy flesh that is rich in Vitamin A, beta carotene and minerals such as selenium which has antioxidant properties which could help prevent cancer.

They are also low in calories, with one peach containing only 35-50 calories with zero fat! Since they are also high in fiber they make the perfect stand alone snack as well as one of our top low sugar fruits for smoothies.

Peaches have also long been used topically for the skin, keeping wrinkles at bay.

If you’ve got lots of peaches to use up, try our hydrating peach mask!

I can’t wait to try this smoothie recipe, it looks so yummy. 🙂 I would have it for breakfast if I added some vanilla protein powder, otherwise I think it would be perfect for a snack. xo

Yummy! This sounds like an anytime smoothie to me. I’d omit the coconut water & replace with rice or almond milk. That’s just because I am not a fan of coconut water. I didn’t realize peaches have so many benefits! I should have known, as I’m from GA “The peach state” … Better learn late than never!
I think children would love it also & not even realize they’re having a “healthy” treat!! I’m going to pin this one to save! Thanks!

  3. Peach is my fav fruit and so are apples. I have a belief that peaches will give me peachy complexion and I try to have them more when they r in season. This is a very good fusion recipe. I am sure gonna try to make it in my regular Oster.

This peach apple smoothie can definitely be made in a regular blender Sally! Just be sure to cut up the apples really small and crush the nuts first. 🙂 HAPPY BLENDING!
