I was scared about using an avocado for this, but turned out there was no need to fear, it’s delicious! (Although I told my husband after he took a sip of his and said it was good that there was an avocado in there, and his reply was, “I really wish you hadn’t told me that.” Hah!)

I love this! I added the ginger and together with the mango it makes it taste like a super creamy tropical dessert! This is my favorite so far! Its like the smoothies get progressively tastier the further into the smoothie challenge. LOVE!!

I have had avocado in smoothies before. Never in a green smoothie though, I liked it. I like to use avocado in sweet/treat-like smoothies to add a creamy texture! I find that 1/4 of an avocado is enough. I am not a huge pineapple/mango fan, so I think next time I will leave it out but otherwise, I liked this smoothie 🙂

  7. Glad you like it Bonnie! It makes 3-4 cups (24-32oz), most people that replace a meal with a green smoothie drink between 16 and 32oz. If it's too much for you, you can freeze any leftovers and pull it out the night before to thaw on a morning you need to run out the door – or have for a snack later in the day! 🙂 Happy Blending! xoxo
