For diabetics and hypoglycemics numerous studies have shown cinnamon helps regulate blood sugar and helps your metabolism which is also great news for anyone who wants stable moods and energy levels.

It can also reduce pain linked to arthritis. Studies have shown it effectively balances hormones due to a natural chemical called cinnamaldehyde, which is effective for menstrual pain and infertility.

  1. I’m just getting ready to load my blender and it appears the chia seeds are missing from the recipe? I’m just going to toss the average amount I normally use in, but thought other readers may want to know how much to put into a dr oz smoothie! have a great day!

    1. ha ha ha i misread “chai” for “chia” OOPS!!!!!! (face is red!) tossed some in anyway, can’t hurt right?

    1. LOL! Good point Ashley! You can definitely adjust the amount – you can also try using vanilla flavored coconut milk 🙂 HAPPY BLENDING and WELCOME to Blender Babes! xo
