Ingredients

  • 1/2 - 1 1/2 cups filtered water depending on how thin or thick you like your smoothies
  • 1 cup packed spinach
  • 1 cup packed kale stems removed
  • 1/2 small avocado OR 1/3 large avocado
  • 1 apple
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen pineapple
  • 1/2 mango
  • 1 cup ice

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients into the blender in the order listed and secure lid.
  • For Blendtec: Press the SMOOTHIE button.
  • For Vitamix: Select VARIABLE Speed #1. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to VARIABLE Speed #10/HIGH. Blend for 45 seconds or until desired consistency is reached.
  • Serve immediately. Enjoy!

Notes

Add 1-2 dates for extra sweetness, or if you aren’t accustomed to green smoothies. The riper the mango and pineapple, the sweeter your smoothie will turn out.
