Coconut Chocolate Chip Recovery Smoothie by Vega

Ingredients
  • 1-1 1/2 cups coconut water
  • 1 serving Vanilla Vega Sport Performance Protein*
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/4-1/2 Vega Maca Chocolate Bar broken into pieces
  • 1 cup ice if using fresh banana
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients, except Maca bar, into blender.
  2. For Blendtec: Press the SMOOTHIE button.
  3. For Vitamix: Start on Variable Speed 1, turn the machine on and slowly increase to Speed 10/High and blend for 50 seconds or until smooth.
  4. Add Maca bar pieces to blender container, pulse 3 to 4 times to create small chocolate chunks (or blend longer if you want a super smooth consistency).
  5. Pour into glass and enjoy!
