Congratulations!
You’re a Recipe Tester!
Thank you for your interest in testing recipes for Blender Babes, We’re SO EXCITED to have you!
Here’s how it works:
♥ LET’S GET CONNECTED ♥
FIRST: If you are on Facebook please JOIN our private Blender Babes Recipe Tester Facebook Group! We can all openly communicate and interact with each other there, however if you aren’t on FB it’s ok! We will still communicate through email as well, so please make sure info@blenderbabes.com is on your SAFE list. 🙂
————————————————————————————————————————————————————-
SECOND: Blender Babes Recipe Testers share a few private documents on Google docs, so that we can all access and update them at the same time. This includes a Hard Copy Recipe Tester Feedback Form (view-only, to print and use as a guide while testing) an online Recipe Tester Feedback Form (to fill out after testing) and a Current Recipes to Test google doc spreadsheet that each of us can edit. (Please note: you must have a Google account to use Google docs. Click here to sign up if you don’t have a Google account, it’s super easy!!) Keep in mind that we are all using the document – don’t delete or add information except your own! 🙂
————————————————————————————————————————————————————-
THIRD: Each month, we will send you an email with the updated Current Recipes To Test link. It will include a list of recipes that we have found from various places and would like tested with instructions adjusted specifically for use with both Blendtec and Vitamix blenders before posting them to the site. Yes, you may suggest your own recipes to be tested! Email your recipes to test requests to tester@blenderbabes.com.
Step 1 ♥ Once you choose a recipe to test, please fill in your tester name under the appropriate blender type, and the estimated date that you plan to have it tested/turned in by that month.
Step 2 ♥ You will fill out the online Recipe Tester Feedback Form (Google Doc Form)
Step 3 ♥ MAKE SURE to take a photo of your completed recipe!! You will email it to recipetesterphotos@gmail.com with the EMAIL SUBJECT LINE A) The Title of the Recipe and B) Your Name
We definitely do not want bad recipes to make it to the site, so please BE HONEST with your score on the feedback form and move on to the next recipe that you are interested in!
————————————————————————————————————————————————————-
REMEMBER: We only ask for one recipe per month, as outlined in the Tester Agreement. We have lots of contests throughout the year for various ingredients, goods, prizes, and memberships, and ALL testers will receive extra special treatment from Blender Babes, which will only get better as we rapidly grow and expand. 🙂
All recipes on BlenderBabes.com that are tested by you will include a tester credit. If you have your own blog already and are interested in also becoming a Blender Babes AUTHOR, we can link to your website, your tested recipes will show up in Google searches, improve your SEO, and give you more authority – please let us know if this is something you are interested in and we will get you set up.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email tester@blenderbabes.com and we will get back to you as quickly as possible!
————— BLENDER BABES BOOT CAMP —————
Maybe you’ve had your blender for ages and know how to do any and everything with it – if that’s the case, you’re probably already an “advanced” Blender Babe – and all of this information will be old news! What we’ve found, though, is that people get their blenders and sign up to test recipes to try to figure out how to use their blenders. For that group, we’ve put together a sequence of our “Review” videos to show you how the blenders perform various tasks. Though these are set up to compare the blenders, we ask that you just take note of how the blender that you own is used.
There are some tips and tricks that we use in the videos that you wouldn’t know otherwise – i.e. For Blendtec, we use the SOUP cycle instead of the WHOLE JUICE cycle to make green juices with Blendtec blenders since it runs longer and breaks down the greens further.
Please watch these videos for more tips and tricks before submitting your first recipe, especially if you are doing a more complex recipe like baking! 🙂 We hate it when something doesn’t work right and we end up wasting ingredients, and would hate to be the reason that happens to you!
