Blackberry Vanilla Green Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond or coconut milk
  • 2 cups organic spinach
  • 1 cup blackberries fresh or frozen
  • 2 tablespoons ground flax seed
  • 1 tablespoon raw pumpkin seed butter nut free OR nut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 15 g/half scoop of vanilla protein powder OR 1 egg white protein
  • 1 cup ice

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients into the blender in the order listed and secure lid.
  • Blendtec: Press the SMOOTHIE button.
  • Vitamix: Select VARIABLE speed #1. Turn machine on and slowly increase speed to VARIABLE speed #10, then to HIGH. Blend for 45 seconds or until desired consistency is reached. Serve immediately.
