RED GRAPE HEART HEALTHY GREEN SMOOTHIE RECIPE
Red grapes, preferably seeded, are the star of this easy heart healthy green smoothie recipe.
They not only add a natural sweetness, red grapes in particular have resveratrol in the skin, which is why doctors recommend drinking one glass of wine per day for heart health.
Get the same benefits without a possible hangover! 😉 The seeds in the grapes also provide a natural nutritional benefit (no need to buy grape seed extract anymore!)
Use a good power blender to liquefy the skin & seeds and therefore easily absorb all the nutrients in the red grapes, spinach, banana, and optional chia seeds.
This green smoothie recipe is a simple combination that works for kids and adults alike. Â Easy to make in the morning, it only contains 3 ingredients and gives you plenty of energy to get up and going!

That’s saying A LOT Cara!! Sounds like simple is best for him and it’s a KEEPER! 🙂 HAPPY BLENDING!
I am rating this high because I’m sure it would be even more tastier than what I did (I would give my own 4 stars). I used seedless grapes because it’s what I had on hand. For once, I didn’t have any baby spinach so I used romaine lettuce, which worked out great! Did not find any chia seeds at the local grocer but I had two kids with me and I’m sure I could locate them if I had more time and patience. But my grapes are frozen so I added them last to the romaine and banana purée. To get the romaine and banana blended and going, I used some pure coconut water, a half cup, then proceeded with the frozen grapes. Absolutely yummy! Thought it might of been a little spicy or bitter but not at all. Very mellow.
Extremely delicious!
Very easy to make, so yummy and filling too!
This is a very tasty smoothie! Two thumbs up!
Yum! Also, 3 1/2 y.o. Approved. I used frozen grapes, frozen baby kale and baby spinach blend, 4 T chia gel and 1.5 c water as modifications
Are we supposed to add water?
This was great!!!
