I AM BERRY CLEAN DETOX JUICE
I am Berry Clean is the second or mid morning drink recipe in Blender Babes’ Free Juice Detox
This juice is a FAVORITE among our tribe for its simplicity as well as a tasty juice which incorporates super detoxing cayenne – when typically detox juices with cayenne can be a little hard to swallow.
We use strawberries and raspberries, but really any combination of two berries will work. Use what’s in season or use frozen fruit. 🙂
This high antioxidant, blood cleansing whole juice recipe is easily made with a power blender, such as a Blendtec or Vitamix – but we have tested and you can make this recipe with regular blender as well. 🙂

BEET HEALTH BENEFITS
Beets are a powerful blood cleanser and commonly used for detoxing as well as adding natural sweetness to juice recipes.
They contain betacyanin, which give them their rich pink color as well as reduces the risk of some cancers, especially colon cancer. Beets also reduce the risk of dementia by producing nitric acid in the body.
Drinking beet juice can lower blood pressure, combat constipation due to high fiber content, and improve the health of your eyes and nerve tissues.
BERRY HEALTH BENEFITS
Berries are packed with antioxidants that fight cancer, lower the risk of diabetes, boost brain function, and help regulate and lower bad cholesterol and blood pressure.
Berries are also rich in pectin, a form of soluble fiber that can lower total cholesterol levels. Strawberries and raspberries are also a good source of folate, a nutrient needed by expectant mothers to stave off birth defects.
Fiber in berries relieves constipation and the anthocyanins in berries repair aging skin.
CAYENNE PEPPER HEALTH BENEFITS
Cayenne pepper is spicy, which ends up fighting inflammation and can also reduce pain by blocking pain receptors in the brain.
The heat from cayenne also serve to clear up congestion and lose weight.
Though most people think that peppers make stomach ulcers worse, they actually contribute to healing stomach ulcers by killing the offending bacteria.

I am really, really trying, but the beets in this are so overwhelming! Any advice to help offset the flavor of the beets?
Plug your nose while your drink 🙂 haha, jk…you could add pitted dates.
This was sooo good. I didn’t add stevia because this recipe has PLENTY of sweet/sugar already. I opted to add some ginger root and it was amazing. Thanks for the recipe!
OMG I bet the added ginger gave it a wonderful punch of flavor
