You can omit the water and ice and extract the ingredients like our friends at FitLife.TV do with a juicer, which of course doesn’t require any digestion of the body and will immediately absorb into your system, however we like to make it a whole food juice by keeping the fiber.

  1. Oh my goodness did you just tell people they can cure their migraines with pineapple and lemon juice. Oh no please don’t . If you new anything about migraines you know that is a no no This juice would have me in the bed within an hour.

    1. Hey Scharee! I believe it’s different for everyone. Many people have had relief from this recipe, but it doesn’t work for all. If you know the pineapple and lemon juice do not work for you you can always omit those from the recipe. 🙂

  2. This drink sounds delicious but pineapple and lemon juice are a big no they are big triggers at least for me and from what I read allot of us and Kale puts me to sleep. Hard to work when your sleeping. This would be a good drink for night to help you sleep without the pineapple and lemon juice

    1. Thanks for sharing Scharee! I’ve never heard of kale putting someone to sleep. Very interesting. Definitely try it without the pineapple and lemon juice (add more liquid to compensate and help with blending) – at night for you!- and let us know how it works for you. HAPPY BLENDING!

  3. HI!
Kale is causing me digestives issues. Can I use spinach or something else and get the same benefits?
    Thanks!

    1. Hey Sophie! If kale is a problem for you, you can definitely use a different leafy green. They don’t have all the same nutritional benefits, but they are both powerhouses. Try spinach and you can also try bok choy or cabbage.

  4. 5 stars
This is the nastiest tasting drink…. BUT it WORKS!!! It is my go to recipe when I am having a bad migraine…. I also am using a ninja rather than juicing it. Last time, I did pretty much drink the juice and did not eat much of the pulp…. Great recipe…

  5. I get Hemiplegic migraines that are stroke like symptoms plus I get abdominal migraine will all this same juicing help with those also thanks

    1. Hi Mary, we are not medical professionals and can’t tell you for sure if this will help, however we have had many community members say it helped. You might also want to try this recipe in a juice extractor or strain a blended version through cheesecloth to remove the fiber, so it goes into your bloodstream more quickly.
